Eli Lilly intends to double its current capacity in India with the construction of a Hyderabad site similar to its global capability centre (GCC) situated in Bengaluru.

The Lilly Capability Centre India (LCCI), as the Hyderabad facility has been dubbed, will expand the company’s capabilities in automation, artificial intelligence, software product engineering and cloud computing. The site is expected to be operational this year.
