Avantor, a global provider of products and services to customers in the life sciences and advanced technology industries, has announced the opening of its new flagship Bridgewater Innovation Center. The research and development facility, located in Bridgewater, NJ, is an addition to Avantor’s network of 13 research and innovation centres across the globe.

The Bridgewater Innovation Center spans 60,000 square feet, doubling its previous laboratory and pilot plant capacity. The facility is designed to foster collaborative work and includes space for upstream and downstream process development, dedicated analytical testing labs, a viral vector laboratory, and an expanded pilot plant to support scale-up simulations, enabling rapid customisation across the entire bioprocessing workflow.
