Samsung Biologics has proposed plans for the construction of a 6th manufacturing plant. This would result in further expansion of its manufacturing capacity to 964,000 litres, if approval for the project is granted by the board. The company’s fifth plant, which is set to become operational in April, will bring Samsung’s annual capacity to 784,000 litres.

This comes after a $1.41 billion deal was announced with an as-of-yet unnamed European client.
